Dominic Bush takes a great 3rd place over all, although a small grid of just 6 Comer drivers you can only race against those who are there on the day. Hoddesdon kart club does tend to have smaller grids than other tracks which is a shame but those who race there still have to perform.
Dom was up against the seasoned drivers who were 11 and 12 years old, Leonardo Dominic's  team mate at Zip drove fantastic again but was unable to Finnish as his chain came off. This left Dominic the only remaining Allstars driver to try and get a podium place.

He had a good session in the timed qualifying heat, finnishing 4th just behind team mate Leonardo panayiotou. Dominic then had problems with the engine for the next 2 heats and ended up last on the grid for the final. Leo was 3rd on the grid with Elliot and Lewis Boret in 4th and 5th places.

After a good start Dom was in 5th and Leo still 3rd, Leonardo pulled up and put Elliot through to 3rd with Dom on his heels.
After 10 laps of trying to find away passed Elliot for 3rd being blocked time and time again, Dominic seized the chance and made a brave move up the inside from the start of the long straight. he fended off Elliots attempts to push him wide and held his nerve through the fast right hand-er to exit in 3rd. He then started to pull away and took the checkered flag for 3rd beating the number 23 kart of Elliot.

He was the only novice in the race and was fantastic in the final. Huge commiserations for Leo who seems to be on a little bit of a non finishing train at the moment. I'm sure that is over now and we will see Dominic's team mate and friend showing the country what he is made of.
Well done Dom shenington next race
